| Bavarian Land Police, assigned with the Constabulary in the late 40's to jeep patrols in Bavaria. The Sheriff, as it were. Americans covered border actions and around the DP camps and LP's handled German nationals. The UN ineffectivly policed inside the DP camps which were "hotbeds" of Black Market activity, among other things. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
