OK - Just to let you know, the 2009 HRA Reunion will be held at the Branson Radisson Hotel, Sep 1-6th. Put those dates on your 2009 calendar. More information will be available at General Membership Meeting in MB and in the 2009 January Hof Connection Newsletter.

We were in Hof 1962 Through July 1965. I was on Able trick, still have the coffee cups, then went to Dobraberg for my last year. Worked with Ken Hager, Larry Johnson and Dwayne Delkamp. Best friends with Jim Holloway, Harold Krinning, Capt E.J. Ledet. Would love to hear from anyone who remembers me. See you all in October at the beach.

I was stationed at OL-A, from 07/80 to 07/83, as part of a small contingent of USAF air traffic controllers assigned to the 1946th Communications Squadron in Berlin. We radar flight followed all the aircraft that flew in/out of the south corridor over then East Garmany. During this period, I lived in the village of Dobra. What a neat assignment & experience!!

My family and I were stationed at Hof from 67-70. Worked in finance. Remember Lonnie Akers, Willie Lee Jones, Jim Compson, Marv Rounkles and a whole bunch more. Loved the assignment and the community of Hof.

I Was a S/SGT in the 11th Segnal Radio Maintenance Team (AVN) that buillt the original redar station in Hof. We used CPPS-1 and CPS-4 radar to initiate the site. We later turned it over to the 602nd for operation. Hof was stil a pretty rought assignmentt. Our Team later built the station on the mountain at Trier. I came home in 1949 and have lost all contact with my friends. I have many fond memories of the little city. The site was originally created because of the closing of Berlin.as was the Trier station. I made many trsips to both sites for maintenaance problems. We had no quarters, but lived with the germans, The were nice and accommodating under the extreme circumstances.
